About

I am interested in software development, photography, travelling and all kinds of other things which you can find in this blog. Feel free to contact me at mrhazard (at) gmail (dot) com.

A little note about the writing style on this blog: I greatly enjoy stream of consciousness writing without too much editing: partly because, for me, that’s the most natural way for me to write down what I’m immediately thinking, but also because editing articles is tedious and reading my own writings back too many times either makes me cringe or makes me want too much nuance. I find it much more entertaining to give it a good honest try to try and get my thoughts out there, and then find it a shame to not publish a thought, even if it the end result doesn’t quite match what I had in my mind. Anyway, don’t worry too much about that, treat this blog as its own thing and realize that if you met me in person I’m probably (hopefully?) nothing like you’d imagine. I want you to read this blog either as 1. a supplement to those who have already met me in real life and want to know more about me, or 2. a completely standalone webpage belonging to some random guy on the internet. There’s no middle ground. If you are reading this blog and are about to meet me for the first time, forget everything about this blog and then read it again after you’ve met me.

    Hi there!

I came across your blog after googling shikattanai to make sure I had the right spelling and meaning.

After looking around, I noticed your point of view and interests coincide with mine a lot.

I too like photography, anime, movies, games but I’m especially interested in Japan. I’d really like to go there once, but I’m a 19 year old (Chinese) med student from the Netherlands and still need to save a bit.

I also have a blog (http://www.iLev.nl/blog) with heavy emphasis on my interests, even though I don’t have a photography page yet (I’m still very new to that :p).

I’ll be following your blog to see what life in Japan is like and perhaps I could even catch some tips on how to improve my photography.

    Greetings!

    Haoran (Lev).
