The colorful wolf

It's something I miss in Japan. Not much grass. I love how it smells in the summer, such a natury odor. I cycled around the lake today. The weather was okay, but there were lots of light and dark clouds that messed up the light, and as a consequence of that, my pictures. I've been studying Photoshop's Shadow and Highlight functions, and it's absolutely brilliant. I can correct my pictures to an amazing extent, although I'm sure I overdid it in my enthousiasm. I'll leave it to you to judge. I put an album online on Picasa. It has Google Earth placemarks built in so I don't have to make it by myself anymore. The geotagging feature is a blessing! ^^

De geur van gras, dat mis ik nou in Japan. Ruikt lekker natuurlijk. Vandaag heb ik een rondje om het Zuidlaardermeer gefietst. Het weer was ok, maar er waren veel te veel wolken die voor slecht licht zorgden, dus sommige foto's waren niet zo goed gelukt. Photoshop heeft daar een Shadow and Highlight functie voor, en daar ben ik een beetje mee aan het proberen geweest. Je kan er een hele hoop mee corrigeren, alhoewel ik in mijn enthousiasme vast heb overgecorrigeerd. Ik heb een album online gezet, met de Google Earth placemarks al ingebouwd via Picasa. Geotagging heet dat, zeer fijn ^^

-- Just a tiny rant in English: where are the bleeping vending machines!?!?! Plenty of trash cans around, but during my whole trip I couldn't find a single vending machine. A Japanese person cannot survive here.
